"The historic property Godolphin House, near Helston and it’s surrounding Estate border my home. This distinctive place has been at the centre of my artisic practice since I started painting in 1993. When The National Trust acquired the estate in 2000 I was invited to help with their education programme. In 2008 and 2009 I became the Godolphin House artist in partnership with Cornwall Open Studios. 2010 and 2011 saw a complete refurbishment of the House and throughout 2012, at key times in the Godolphin House calendar of public open days, I held regular workshops in the property."
